The proposal stems from the distribution of the Church's activity programs into three major sectors: the educational and administrative sector, located in the existing complex and buildings next to the current temple; the leisure and culture sector, installed in the building currently used by the Time of God; and the worship and communion sector, occupying the new facilities planned. This sectorization serves as a guideline for future transformations and adaptations and aims to forge a specific character for each of the parts of the IPUCSP Complex.
The new building complex sought to give the new church an important urban presence, placing it in a prominent position next to Mituto Mizumoto Street. The building rises one level above the public sidewalk and access to its interior is via a set of ramps that provide a calm and comfortable route. Underneath the temple is the refectory, which relates to a large void created inside the court, a meeting and communion space for the whole complex. The choir rehearsal rooms, located in the first basement, have a configuration that allows them to be used as a smaller temple, as a theater for various performances or as a reserved space with independent access for wakes and other events.
A small building, on the corner of M. Mizumoto and B. de Iguape streets, covers the access ramps to the church and houses the pastoral offices and multipurpose rooms for prayer and meetings. The necessary parking spaces are provided on two underground levels with the main access on R. Mituto Mizumoto and the secondary access on R. Sinimbu.
